What I did this weekend

Tuesday, December 8, 2009

Wanna know where I went on Thursday and Friday night?

If you can't tell who those people are from my pathetic phone photos...here is a little help:

Uh, Yeah.  I saw both Darius Rucker and Martina McBride in concert this weekend.
Can you say H.O.T.?
Both of them...

Darius was here in Salina and it was an amazing concert.
The Stiefel Theatre is the way to go when you are seeing a concert.  It is small and intimate.
And by the way, he wants me.
Martina was just a limo ride (with 5 or 9 Blue Moons) away at the new Hartman Arena in Wichita.
It too is a smaller venue.

Both concerts were great.  I forget how fun a concert can really be.  Especially now when we can afford to buy better tickets! wink!

I have 2 new additions to my free-pass-five!

Bob Dylan

This came on the radio yesterday and I just had to remind you about it!
You'll be singing it all afternoon!

Huh? Bruce Hornsby...

Remember him? Mandolin Rain come on my Pandora Radio Station today. I DO like this song.

Dirty Words

Wednesday, August 20, 2008

Do any of you like to listen to music with really dirty-vulgar-bad word lyrics when you work out? For some reason I do. Maybe it is because I can't have that stuff on in the car (or anywhere else in public for that matter). Courtney introduced me to Girl Talk. I too have recently amped up my running, and this stuff is GREAT! You must download it!

FUCK!
(that felt good!)

Emily referred to this song, and I had to go right out and buy it on itunes...makes you smile while listing, doesn't it?
